Welcome to the Lightning Strike™1.0.1 Plug-in !										                                          

Installation instructions:

The installer will allow you to place Lightning Strike™ 
for Power Macs on to your hard disk.

a) Quit Netscape if you have not already done so. 
b) Below where it says choose destination 
    folder, choose your current Netscape 2.0 folder 
    (must be a 2.0 beta or 2.0 final release)      
c) Open the most current Netscape 2.0 folder.
d) Open the plug-ins folder.
e) Choose install 
f) When the installation process is complete, get 
    info on the Netscape 2.0 application.
g) Under memory requirements, set the 
	  minimum size: box to 8000k and  set the 
    preferred size: box to 10000k. these memory 
		requirements should allow 3-4,24-bit, 256x256 
		(true color) images to be viewed on screen at 
		the same time.  if you would like to view more 
		than that please raise the memory requirements 
		for Netscape 2.0 (about 2 meg for each at 256x256 
		pixels or use your calculator and multiply the 
		dimensions of the images by 32). 

You may now use the Lightning Strike™ Plug-in to 
view graphics in Netscape that were compressed using the
Lightning Strike™ compressor.
